LunaBrite™ Flotation Devices are lighted life vests for your pets and uses the newest technology in pet safety. LunaBrite™ is a Photo Luminescent light that uses both indoor and outdoor light to charge itself within 5 to 30 minutes, then emits light for over 8 hours. When fully charged, LunaBrite™ will be at its brightest for the first 3 to 4 hours, but can still be visible up to 12 hours without a recharge. It does not use batteries, wires, or bulbs nor does it generate heat like other light sources, making the LunaBrite™ completely safe to use around pets, children, and water. It can be seen from 30 - 100 yards away. The LunaBrite™ technology is 50% brighter than charged Glow-in the Dark products and it's "glow" is up to 10x longer. LunaBrites™ are always in use; they are always either charging or emitting light. LunaBrite™ is completely rechargeable and will last up to 20 years.

The LunaBrite™ is lightweight and maintenance free. These doggie life jackets are non-toxic and although not approved for consumption, the LunaBrite™ casing is safe if chewed on or accidentally swallowed. The LunaBrite™ life jackets can be thrown in the washer without any damage to the LunaBrite™ technology.

Each padded LunaBrite™ pet flotation device has a handle on the back to pull your pet up out of the water. A dog bone charm adorns the D-ring where you would attach your pet's leash. Two adjustable nylon straps come around the belly, while one comes around the neck and snaps together for a snug fit. Not only do these life vests include the LunaBrite™ Technology, but it also uses retro reflective material (reflects light that bounces off of it) to give your pet the maximum protection. These flotation devices come in 6 sizes: Extra Small, Small, Medium, Large, 2X Large, 3X Large.



Why should your Pet wear a Life Jacket?

Although myth has it that all dogs are great swimmers, that is just not true. There are several different reasons why your pet would not be able to swim, and therefore need a life jacket. A dog's size or weight is not a factor in determining which breeds should wear a life vest. Some dogs just don't like to swim. Dogs with little body fat (i.e., Doberman Pinschers and Greyhounds) can actually have trouble in the water. Swimming can actually be painful for some dogs that are elderly and/or have joint or hip problems. When exposed to cold water, some breeds can develop hypothermia. Whether your dog is a good swimmer or not, all dogs can get exhausted in the water and in worst case scenario, can be knocked unconscious if bumped overboard.
