The Ruff Wear Approach dog backpack is great for training, exercising or taking a 3-day hike. This backpack allows your dog to carry his gear and yours as well. Constructed out of heavy duty rip stop nylon, this durable pack contains saddlebags on either side of a 5-point adjustable fit Web Master Dog harness. The harness frame ensures stability and weight distribution of the saddlebags. The saddlebags contain ample room for food, treats, toys, etc and are weight forward to give the ideal load-carrying position. Each Approach backpack has a highly-visible reflective trim, so your dog can be seen by oncoming vehicles and flashlight beams. External gear loops gives you additional space to tote equipment. A handgrip is available to help your dog up and over tough obstacles. For optimum fit, the harness should an overall snug fit to prevent movement or shifting of the saddlebags. For dogs between sizes, choose the smaller size.
