My mother, siblings and I were found in a box abandoned along a highway in Ketchum, Idaho. We were lucky enough to be taken to a "no kill" shelter there and were treated very well. One by one my brothers, sisters and mother were adopted by humans.

As I awaited for my forever family another life was ending that would in short be my lucky break. Maxxine and Bailey were American Staffordshire Terriers and had been together for eleven years. One morning Bailey woke up sick with an enlarged heart and by nightfall had left her sister and human family. Her mom so filled was grief needed to celebrate her love for Bailey by giving it to another dog. Three days later I had a home!

In the beginning Maxxine was very aggressive with me and my people were very careful to merge us without harming me. A month later I was her new best friend! Maxxine and Bailey joined each other two years ago and playing in the fields of heaven. I now have a younger sister (Isabeau) who takes my toys, sleeps in my dog bed and steals my treats. Other than that life is great!
