The PetSafe Long Range Remote Trainer is compact and easy to handle. The large, easy to read screen shows the level of static correction currently being used and which dog is being corrected. This remote trainer uses a tone only for good behaviors, 8 levels of stimulation for bad behaviors and a boost option to quickly grasp your dog's attention. The "+2 boost" button allows you to give your pet a stimulation 2 levels above your current static correction level. You can add a second dog to this system with any of the PetSafe Venture Series Add-A-Dog receivers.

The Long Range transmitter and the receiver are both waterproof and rechargeable. After a 5 hour initial charge, both the transmitter and receiver takes 3 - 4 hours to charge and can keep a charge anywhere from 40 to 60 hours. You can monitor the battery life of the transmitter on the display screen and from the flashing red light on the low battery indicator on the collar.
