The 60" x 12" Sofa size ScatMat is your answer. This mat is quick to set-up and easy to use. Simply put a 9-volt battery (not included) in to the battery pack, attach the pack to the mat and turn it on. Whenever your pet jumps up on the mat, he will receive a static correction, reminding him this is a prohibited area. The correction will not harm your pet and is comparative to static build-up when you shuffle your feet on carpet. After a few times your pet will affiliate the negative correction with the action and stop the behavior. An activity indicator shows you how many times your pet has activated the mat.

This ScatMat has 3 levels of intensity to suit the needs of different sized cats and dogs:

• Low — Kittens
• Medium — Short-haired cats and small dogs
• High — Long-haired cats, large dogs and doorway training.

Each 9-volt battery lasts approximately 6 months or 10,000 activations. A wall adapter can be purchased separately.
