PetSafe Programmable Stubborn Dog Receiver PRF-275

If your dog is over 30 pounds and is stubborn or hard to train you may need the PetSafe Stubborn Dog Receiver. A small percentage of dogs require this receiver. We have found that the following breeds need the PetSafe Stubborn Dog Receiver more than other breeds: Labs, German Shepherds, Chows, Huskies, Akitas.

The Pet Safe Stubborn Dog Receiver (Model: PRF-275) is for the occasional hard-to-train dog. A small percentage of dogs are not affected by our regular receivers. The PetSafe Stubborn Dog receiver is designed with these dogs in mind.

The PetSafe PRF-275 comes complete with collar, short probes for short hair dogs and long probes for long hair dogs.

Receiver requires a 9 volt battery (not included). Works with all PetSafe, Radio Fence, and Pet Guardian underground wired Dog Fence Systems. Does not work with PetSafe Wireless Instant Fence.

• A True Warning: If your dog gets too close to his boundary a 3 second audible warning and vibration are given before the correction. ""Vibration"" is a is a big help when dealing with a stubborn dog. The warning allows your pet to choose good behavior and back up before the correction.
• Vibration is part of every correction level.
• Expandable for more than one dog with separately purchased extra receivers. Each dog can be set at a different level based on its needs.
• Runthrough Preventer: If your dog jumps at the boundary, and goes in further than one foot, an immediate correction will be given without warning.

• Low Battery Indicator: Lets you know when to change the battery.
• Safety Shut-Off: If your dog gets stuck in the field, the collar will cut off after 20 seconds and re-set only after it has been removed from the signal field.
