The PetSafe Dog Door has a telescoping tunnel for walls 4¾" to 7¼" thick. This do-it-yourself project only requires a few tools and can be put into all type of wall materials including Stucco, Siding and even Brick. These durable, aluminum frame dog doors can be placed anywhere there is a clearing on the inside to the outside — In the garage, mudroom, kitchen, etc.

The Petsafe dog door has a dual flap design with one interior and one exterior. This helps keep your dog door insulated from the weather. For peace of mind the pet door comes with a security panel that slides down when your dog is through with the door for the night.

This door is perfect for my four dogs, they took to it very quickly. They had been using another type with a single flap, but with a a few treats as bribery things worked out well. I would recomend this to any dog owner,

The step by step directions for this door are excellent. I installed it with no problem. A few tips: If you have a window sill or anything sticking out from the wall within 18" above the door installation site, you may have trouble sliding the cover in and out. Allow for this clearance. Also, the B side (outside) door part of the door has nodules on the 4 corners that will require a little extra routing. These nodules are not on the cut out template, but not a big deal. I would recommend this door.
