We have owned three of these doors and they work great. The only draw back is that with 3, 60-80 lbs Boxers, they get a lot of use and the plastic hinges at the top of the door break easily. This causes the door to sag a little and makes a lot of noise when the door swings back and forth. Our neighbors behind us have even ask what the noise is they hear all the time. Since our back door is new and already has the hole cut in it for this product we have to buy a new doggy door and replace it about twice a year.

We bought this door almost 4 years ago. Yes it's a bit noisy as they go through and there is considerable air leakage between the flap and frame, but up to now it has worked fine. The door flap broke off it's hinges. After looking at pet safes website and not finding a replacement flap for our size door we tried twice to use the live help with no success. We've received a message saying no one available to help and was asked leave leave name, email, product and message. Supposedly someone will get back within 1 business day. It's been almost 2 weeks since contacting them and no response back. At the price these doors cost we are not willing to buy an entire new dog door each time the flap breaks off it's hinges.

We have three dogs that were already use to a dog door and when we got the electronic door the loud snap of the door scared them at first but now have no problem useing the door. I do have to say its pretty noisy and opens and closes when the dogs are not even in front of the door so I had to adjust the sensativity. also, when its very windy it triggers the door repeatadly. the style is ok it would be nice if it was not white as it is in our front door and sticks out like a soar thumb. the tech service is great and I would recomend this product to anyone.

Saw this item at a pet store in town, but for $90 more. Exact same product. Shipped on time. Very easy to install. My dogs didn’t need to be trained to use it, it came naturally to them. Within 1 day, they knew to wait for the sound of the door unlocking.

Had the dog door installed so I cannot say how hard it is to install. It looks good. It works good. The dog was already trained on a regular dog door and started using this one right away. No problems and no complaints. Happy customer.
