This system comes with Transmitter and Programmable Vibrating Stubborn Dog Receiver. This receiver is excellent for that stubborn, big or hard to train dog. If your pet weighs over 30 pounds and is very stubborn this is the one for you. This may be needed on stubborn tough breeds such as Akita, Chow, Huskie, and occasionally, Labs and German Shepherds.

The system can be expanded to 20 acres by adding additional wire and flags. It uses the patented ASICS Chip, the only microprocessor in the industry built specifically for pet fences by PetSafe®. It has 3,000 filters to eliminate any possibility of interference from outside sources. The transmitter has a good loop indicator light, a power-on indicator light, and an audio wire break alarm.

This system includes a boundary kit that contains 500 feet of 20 gauge Standard wire and 50 boundary flags (enough to enclose 1/3 acre). We recommend this system for dogs that are hard to train.

This Fence System Includes 500 Feet of 20 Gauge Stranded Wire Our underground fence systems have two wire options, a standard 20 gauge stranded copper wire for typical installations and a Professional Grade heavy-duty, heavy jacketed, single strand wire for added strength and reliability! If you are interested in our Professional Grade heavy duty wire, look for models with the black wire spool in the picture or a "Heavy-Duty Wire" description. We recommend using the wire upgrade if you are installing above ground or in rocky soil, have a lot of fast growing tree roots or just want the added security of an extra heavy duty wire. Our heavy duty 18 gauge wire single strand copper wire is a specialty product and cannot be found in pet or hardware stores.

The Stubborn Dog receiver requires a 9-volt battery (not included), and works with all PetSafe, Radio Fence, and Pet Guardian Systems. It does not work with Instant Fence.
