"The PetSafe Economy Bark Control Collar by is one of the lightest bark control collars available! When your dog barks, this bark collar gives a warning beep and mild correction. Then if he continues to bark, he will receive the warning tone with a slightly stronger correction. This progressive correction will continue up through six levels of correction. The collar senses the vibrations in your dog's throat that happen only during barking. It works, but the batteries don't seem to last long and are expensive. Especially if you have more than one dog. $11.95 for two batteries and they only last about 3 months. I have six dogs. . .so you see how expensive it can be. The other Innotek collar I had used regular medical batteries and wasn't near as expensive to maintain.

Bought this for my yapper. I was a little concerned that it would not work because it is a lower cost bark collar. I was worried about the "you get what you pay for". This bark collar stopped my dog from barking so well I do not leave the collar on the dog when I am home. I only use it when I am away from my apartment.

Bought this for my dog that barks at every walker going by the house, and would drive me crazy. Put this collar on, and she barked once and got a zapped (enough to make her yelp) and maybe a few more barking attempts, but within the same day, she stopped barking. My life is so much quieter now. This one doesn't have all the bells and whistles but still works great.
