This system comes with Transmitter and Programmable Vibrating Stubborn Dog Receiver. This receiver is excellent for that stubborn, big or hard to train dog. If your pet weighs over 30 pounds and is very stubborn this is the one for you. This may be needed on stubborn tough breeds such as Akita, Chow, Huskie, and occasionally, Labs and German Shepherds.

The system can be expanded to 20 acres by adding additional wire and flags. It uses the patented ASICS Chip, the only microprocessor in the industry built specifically for pet fences by PetSafe®. It has 3,000 filters to eliminate any possibility of interference from outside sources. The transmitter has a good loop indicator light, a power-on indicator light, and an audio wire break alarm.

Our 18 gauge premium Fence Wire focuses on quality and customer satisfaction. When you purchase a hidden fence, you want the fence to last for years. Our wire is specially made for us with an extra hard coating to protect it during and after installation.

A 500 Foot PROFESSIONAL GRADE Heavy-Duty Wire Upgrade Is Included With This System Our underground fence systems have two wire options, a standard 20 gauge stranded copper wire for typical installations or a PROFESSIONAL GRADE 18 gauge heavy-duty, heavy jacketed, single strand thicker wire for added strength and reliability! If you are interested in our PROFESSIONAL GRADE extra heavy duty wire upgrade, look for models with the black wire spool in the picture or a "Heavy-Duty Wire" description. We recommend using the wire upgrade if you are installing above ground or in rocky soil, have a lot of fast growing tree roots or just want the added security of an extra heavy duty wire. Our PROFESSIONAL GRADE heavy duty 18 gauge wire single strand copper wire is a specialty product and cannot be found in pet or hardware stores.

The Stubborn Dog receiver requires a 9-volt battery (not included), and works with all PetSafe®, Radio Fence®, and Pet Guardian® Systems. It does not work with Instant Fence®.
