How Underground Fencing Works:
The Transmitter plugs into a standard outlet and emits a radio signal that travels along an underground wire. The lightweight receiver worn on your pet's collar picks up the radio signal and alerts him as he nears the underground boundary that you have customized for your yard. If he continues toward the boundary, he will receive a mild

correction, similar to a static shock. Best of all, unlike traditional fences, cages, and chains, it's the one solution that can't be dug under, chewed through, or jumped over.

The maintenance free design and ease of installation offers tremendous savings compared to conventional fencing and other systems of this type. The transmitter, receiver, and power adapter are UL Approved. In addition the new QuickFit buckle provides a quick release and a perfect fit every time. The flexible collar provides a comfortable fit for any size dog. The collar is adjustable from 6 inches to 26 inches.

Radio Fence� makes it easy to train your pet. By spending just minutes a day working with your pet, he can be fully trained in a few days. You can train as many dogs as you want on the same system, as long as they are each wearing a receiver collar. Additional receivers are available if your have more than one dog.

Wire Options For Underground Fences

Our underground fence systems have two wire options, a standard 20 gauge stranded copper wire for typical installations and a heavy-duty, heavy jacketed, single strand wire for added strength and reliability! If you are interested in our extra heavy duty wire upgrade, look for models with the black wire spool in the picture or a "Heavy-Duty Wire" description.

We recommend using the wire upgrade if you are installing above ground or in rocky soil, have a lot of fast growing tree roots or just want the added security of an extra heavy duty wire. Our heavy duty 18 gauge wire single strand copper wire is a specialty product and cannot be found in pet or hardware stores.

Radio Fence� offers the flexibility you need to solve your installation problems. Bury the boundary wire underground approximately 3-4 inches deep OR in areas with little traffic, the wire can be placed on the top of the ground and held in place with sod staples. Using your own design, you can protect your flower and seedbeds, shrubs, trees and even swimming pools.
