It holds 5 pounds of dry food and can dispense 1/4 to 2-cup servings up to three times a day. The timer is easily to set by programming the current time as well as the desired meal times and amount of food for each meal. The Le Bistro Portion Control Feeder can handle most varieties of dry food up to 3/4"" in diameter. The food container and hopper should be washed with warm, soapy water and a cloth, while the detachable bowl is dishwasher-safe.

my cat reaches up and snacks anytime he wants. but that is fine with me. my issue is i am getting a new maine coon in a few weeks and ive been looking for a split bowl to feed two cats, but i havent found anyhing, please help

Good product since the cat will only eat fresh food in his bowl. A real help when he is left alone. Pleased !

I never had a problem with it when we just had our first cat. Then we got a second cat who REALLY likes feeding time, and reached up inside it to get food so much that it eventually broke and woudl release food when we were just walking by it. Bummer, because he's the one that needs a regimented feeding schedule, if we just left food out, he'd eat it all in one day. :( Now we are looking for a feeder he can't break into.

I really like it. The only thing is my cats stick their paws up inside it and jiggle the release and it lets a few pieces of food come out. They like that. They can have a snack whenever they want. : )
