This system is by far the best investment that we have made in years. We got it about a year and a half ago and being a dog owner it has changed our lives in the best way possible. We now have no worries about our dog leaving our yard or getting into the road. This system gives our dog the freedom of the entire yard without us having to be with her the whole time she is outside. It is easy to set up and simple to use. Our little dog learned her boundaries in one day, there are some days that she makes it out of the house without her collar but yet she knows her Boundaries.

PetSafe Wireless Fencing was recommended by a shopper (NOT a sales clerk) at Rural King. She has 5 large dogs and couldn't have been happier with product. Friend heard we were looking into purchase of one and her Supervisor had one for sale (she no longer had a dog). Bought used w/2 batteries for $175.00. We had just adopted a 3 yr old 50 lb Vizsla, live in a Subdivision w/partial privacy fence and did not want to install chain link. One Dog trainer told us it would not work with a dog of hunting nature. Installed on a Sunday (according to mfg instructions) and Otis was perfectly adjusted and trained by Monday pm! He only got zapped twice. He now hears the sound and does not go near the boundry! Not only do we have peace of mind, but now that he has liberties to wander in his zone, his barking has not only improved, but DISAPPEARED! With his new sense of freedom...AND ours...All are much happier campers and we are so happy to have a dog again after 20 years without one. I am visually impaired and he is such a good companion and walking partner. Had the fencing not worked, we probably could not have kept him. THANK YOU PetSafe! the system is fantastic. i have a head strong boxer and even when he doesn't have the collar on he remembers his boundries (he was zapped during the training process)

Bought this a couple of years ago. What a great product! We have a Chessy and live right on the golf course. When he was a pup he would run out and chase the golfers and pick up their golf balls(really irratating them of course) I went to the hardware store and got this unit. I had my dog trained in one day!! Very seldom does he ever break the boundry line. When he does he is chasing a deer or antelope off the property. I would highly recommend this to people that want to keep there dogs on their property. We even take this camping with us so our dog does not go bother other campers in the area. I fire up the generator let it run for awhile till our dog knows where the boundry line is. then I turn the generator off but leave the collar on. He will stay inside the boundry. Beats keeping him on a leash.

We purchased this system for our 6 month old 50 pound black lab "puppy". Although we live in the country, our road is very busy. We were fearful she would get hit by a car and a friend and co-worker told us about this system! It is just what we needed! We followed the set up and training instructions and she is now safe and we have peace of mind. She did get excited one day and followed me past the boundary and recieved the static sensation. Once was enough for her and now she stays within the boundaries and knows how far to go. She is happy which makes her family very happy!

This is the BEST Product out there!! I had tried everything to keep pur 1 year old Lab from running. I do not like having a Dog chained, but I was afraid that would be the only option. It took only 2 days of training and now he knows where the limits are, and does not even try and cross the Line. He was shocked three times and knew to run back to the house and he would stop being shocked. That was all it took to keep him home. He has been on the system now for two weeks, and has not been shocked since! I would recommend this to anyone. Money well spent!

This unit is well worth the money! We have an acre of property and a Bordie Collie/Australian Shepard mix that has high energy. It took him four days to figure out his boundaries. We used the flags included, but spray painted them orange since we were training him in the winter when there was snow on the ground. We took him out twice a day on a leash and walked the whole perimeter letting him hear the beep. We then let him off of his leash after the first day and he defiinitely got shocked. After two or three shocks he has learned not to cross the boundaries. He's a smart dog and we haven't had any problems with the main unit we keep in the house. This is an incredible product. We know that he will be safe and he is happy to have free roam of the property. Great investment.

Our year old Newfoundland trained very quick. He didn't go by the actual training he wouldn't follow the comand of walking the boundry but it took him one time of going through it to realize he had to listen to the beeps .We love the fence for our, the only down fall is our battery died real quick in the collar.

I really like the functionality of the wireless fence. It has worked well for us (on 5 acres.) However, the two prongs on the collar come off easily (the prongs hold the receiver on to the collar.) I was checking them regularly like the instructions say, however the prongs on one of my dogs' collars came out yesterday afternoon (both at the same time apparently.) The receiver unit fell off of the collar and the dog chewed on it for a while before I discovered it. Harumph!

I had an inground fence-the wire broke often and it was aggravating. I live on a state road and have watched numerous animals hit, killed, or severely injured. The wireless fence was my last ditch effort, short of putting up a small kennel run or tying up my dogs ( which I didn't want to do--it changes their personalities and they are not happy.) My dogs had it in a matter of days. It took hours to put up the flags, but it was worth the effort. It gives them almost a full acre of yard to run and romp. I have accidentally let them out without the collar--and they don't go beyond the boundaries. My peace of mind was worth the money. You invest in your animals, alot of money and alot of training and alot of love--to lose one is heartbreaking. This product does what it promises and at a minimum of effort. I forgot to take the collar off and my dog headbutted me. I was looking at my dash to see where the noise was coming from. It was the collar! I pulled over, snapped it off and threw it in the floorboard. When I drove back to put it in the house? It started beeping 1 mile away from my house! The range is obviously well beyond 10'-20'. Great product.

We have had the buried wire for 12 years and have found it to be very reliable. However , wanting to expand the area and not wanting to bury the wire we choose the wireless model. We live with 3 Golden Retrievers. We use the wireless model for the outer boundary and kept the wired model for flower beds and areas we wish the dogs to stay away from. It 's awesome. No worries. Product Great! Service Great! Price Great One happy family!!!

This product is great! It took only two weeks before we were able to release our dog in our large backyard and have him stay within the boundaries. It has really reduced our stress since we live on a busy road. He is able to chase the freebee and run and have such fun now. It is so great to see him so happy.

We purchased our second system recently--we loved the first one, but had some trouble after 3 years with several electrical outages that made re-setting difficult. We were able to set up the second system in no time, and this time did not have to train the dog--she already knew the parameters. We have a 13-lb. dog, and she was only shocked initially twice before she understood. Now the beeps are enough, and we turned the shock off a few months after her training. We even leave the collar off sometimes and she still stays within the parameters. We love that she can roam most of the yard without worry, and we can even leave her alone in the yard.

i just purchased this product today and it was the easiest thing to set-up! I have a stubborn Basset hound and i thought it was impossible to train! but now he is doing great and is running free in our yard!

Amazing results, I was reluctant to use shock as a training method. This system allows adjustment of control, was very easy to set up. Two small reminders were all that my very determined German Shepard needed. I now feel comfortable having him outside with me, confident that he will be safe inside the yard. Customer service was excellent. I’m now ordering the training collar.

Bought this after much research. All reviews were favorable so I decided to take the chance. I received the unit set it to the highest range and followed the instructions, which are simple. I put out my flags as instructed used cut up hot dogs as treats and in about 9 days had my 6 month old Great Dane trained. I live in the country but have a road about 120 yards from my house where my dog's mother was hit by a car and lost a leg. This is the best investment I could have made. I can not tell you how much piece of mind have now for the safety of my Dog!

We used the older version of this product for almost 10 years and loved it. It started acting up with a new pup, American Bulldog, and decided to order this one. It is fantastic. He is 5 months and has learned his territory and can run and play all day long. There is no need to restrict him on a line and he is much happier.
