I wasn't getting any sleep. My kitty would wake me up over and over again for food. In desperation I ordered this. It's heaven! I set it to open twice during the night and she's very satisfied with the routine--waking me was hard work. She still wakes me up anyway, but I think maybe to thank me--she doesn't make me get up, just a quick hello which is lovely. I dish up the bowls in the morning after washing them, and then put them in the freezer--I get them out in the evening and set it up for the night, so the food is thawed and room temp again when the feeder opens for her. The markings don't allow precise timing... there's one "click" per hour, but even then, I think that's approximate. The first night only one door opened, but it has worked just fine ever since. Both of us are in better health, less stressed, since getting this!

The automatic pet feeder is a great concept and most likely perfect for some pets. That was not the case for my 11 year old beagle whom I'm told is very "food motivated". Gizmo could not stand the thought that food was under the cover of the feeder and worked diligently to have a snack. Round 2 - he's destroyed the feeder!

We bought this to replace another brand.model that had been demolished by our 2 cats. These cats weigh about 23-25 lbs each. The first night, I heard some noise coming from the laundry room where we keep their food dish at. I had set the timer after closing the lids. One of the cats had managed to pry open the left lid and proceeded to eat!! I ran them off and reset the timer after closing the lid. When I sat back down to continue watching tv and heard the same sound again. The same cat had discovered that he could open the lids even though it had been "secured" by the timer mechanism. The next day, I built an enclosure for this feeder to set in and yet allow full function. So far that seems to have solved the problem. Over all the product works well. Perhaps I should allow the manufacturer to use my cats for testing products in the future!!!

I have two cats that succeed on waking me up around 3:30-4AM for their can cat food. This product allows full cat bellies and owners sleep. THANK YOU! This will be nice to have when going away for the weekends too; my boys won’t have to do without. At first had a little trouble timing both sides to open up together, but it didn’t take long…

Love it! My dog was suffering from low blood sugar and needed to eat more frequently. This product feeds him 4 hours and 8 hours after I leave for work. I’m very happy with the product and my dog is no longer having problems. Purchasing from this website was really easy and fast.

This makes my life a little easier. I don’t have to stress about home will my dog be fed when I’m at work. It is very easy to set and clean. I program it to open at 5am and then at 3pm for Roxy to eat while I’m at work. I love it.
