PetSafe's Pawz Away™ Outdoor Pet Barrier will help teach your pet to avoid certain areas in your yard. The transmitter disguised as a rock creates a barrier around flower beds, pools, trashcans and other prohibited areas. The lightweight receiver collar features both Tone and Progressive Static Correction which will startle your pet but not harm him. The Outdoor Pet Barrier's wireless option can protect an area 3 to 16 feet in diameter. You can also create a custom shaped fence using up to 150 feet of boundary wire (sold separately).

My wife and I have a dog that has always been considered our dog. That is until she started digging up my wife’s flower bed. My wife informed me that I had to figure out a way to keep my dog out of the flower bed. This pawz away wireless fence has done the job. It fits in with the flower bed without being an eye sore. We are now once again one big happy family.

Great product. I was a little skeptical at first because I could find no consumer reviews online for some reason, but I bought it anyway. My dog Tiger, who is a very large mastiff/great dane mix, kept escaping through the gate even after repeated attempts to ensure he could not get out. Eventually he just tore the chain-link off the gate frame. I was at my wits end. We ended up putting him on a tie out on a tree in the back yard. He stayed there for 3 months. I felt so bad for putting him on there because he had an entire yard of about 2 acres that he could be running in. We actually tried to find him another home, although that was not what we wanted for him. I decided to try this as a last resort. When I got it, (shipping was very fast), it was easy to set up. I had bought 2 units and placed it next to both gates. Within 30 minutes of putting the collar on him, he figured it out. He actually walks around the set zone now. We were able to let him be loose in the yard the same night. I don’t think it's the mild shock, but rather the noise that is made that made the most difference. Now, we will see if it works during thunderstorms, but as of right now, I am a happy customer!!
