I LOVE this product! It had no effect on my Doberman, but he was not the problem barker. Our Pitt/Chow mix use to bark NON-STOP until we bought this thing. Instantly when it went off he hid behind a chair for about an hour. It doesn't have the same affect on him that it did, but he certainly learned not to bark. He hardly ever barks in the house now. I hope he continues to learn because ever since we've gotten this thing he's learned to relax more and not go crazy while we're gone. I did read an article online that dogs with blocky heads hear ultrasonic tones better then dogs with narrow heads. Just a thought when you are considering to purchase this. It's worth a shot and certainly worth the money that I spent!

This product DOES work well, and my mini Schnauzer now only lightly gruffs rather than barking non-stop as long as it is ON. She hasn't yet figured out that she shouldn't bark, so we have to leave it on in order for her to not bark. Therein lies the problem. The device is extremely sensitive to sounds, and it is always going off (which I just realized after 3 weeks of use) because we have little ones here who are constantly squealing and 'screaming', setting it off. My poor puppy!! I now only turn it on when they are napping and don't want the barking to wake them. Also, there is a larger problem. Tomorrow I will be going to the Dr. Supposedly the sound is inaudible to the human ear, and it is (I can't hear it), BUT--it is/has caused me HUGE ear pain. My daughter is also complaining of ear pain when the device is going off. My overall review: the device is too sensitive to noises and also can cause ear pain in humans. I do not recommend.

I love this product but I noticed that it is not working anymore I have had it for a few months and just recently changed the battery but it is not working any suggestions. This product was aewsome but it's not working anymore.

We purchased the device after a night filled with barking from our new dog. This was almost 2 weeks ago now. Since we have set up the device, she has only barked 3 times - and that was in the first 10 seconds after putting her in her kennel. I would have to say this device does the job perfectly. We have no complaints. It was well worth it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We were at our wit's end with our four barking Maltese dogs. They were in control of our home! Now, thanks to the UltraSonic Bark Control Unit, we are living in peace for the first time in a long time. The unit worked immediately--our dogs noticed the tone and their barking decreased dramatically. We have used it manually a few times and, as I said, peace has been restored to our home. It works well for the high-pitched barking of our little dogs. Thank you!!
