The extra length offers a flatter angle for easier climbing. This is especially crucial for dog owners that drive 4x4 pickups and other large, difficult to reach vehicles. The telescoping pet ramp has a high-traction surface for stability while walking. Four rubber feet keeps this ramp stable when in use. The telescoping dog ramp is easy to use and store. Slide it out to use or slide it in to stow. At full length, the dog ramp is 89"", but can be used at any length down to 47"". The shorter length is great for limited space areas and when the upper surface isn't very high. This oversized pet ramp slides in to a very compact, lightweight ramp.
