Outdoor installation is simple: bury the boundary wire, attach it to a transmitter plugged into a standard wall outlet, put the collar on the dog and train for a short time and that's it! When the dog tries to cross the boundary, a signal is sent to deliver a harmless correction through the receiver collar to discourage crossing the boundary. In just a short time, your pet learns to stay safely within the invisible boundary where YOU want! You can use the remote to reinforce the corrections at the specific times you desire even while inside the boundary.

The external lightning protection protects your home and installation from lightning strikes and the power surge that comes with them. The transmitter has a battery back-up and an audible and visual wire break alarm. The battery back-up requires 6 AA batteries that are not included and protects your pet even when the power goes off. The 500 feet of boundary wire is enough to protect up to 1/2 acre. The system is capable of covering up to 25 acres with additional wire purchased separately. The FasTrak pre-twisted wire is used for creating openings in the boundary where you want your pet to be able to cross. The system features patented Run-Through prevention that increases the correction as your pet nears the boundary. A safety shut-off will stop constant corrections should your pet get stuck in the boundary area. An early warning tone alerts your pet before a correction is delivered to give the opportunity to stay away from the boundary. Boundary self-check displays system and collar status 24/7.

The 100% waterproof receiver collar weighs 1.8 oz. and is sleek, contoured and comfortable on your dog. ReadyTest® on the receiver collar delivers pleasant audible clicks so you know the collar is fit and working properly. The hand-held Micro remote battery is included.

This Fence System Includes 500 Feet of 20 Gauge Stranded Wire Our underground fence systems have two wire options, a standard 20 gauge stranded copper wire for typical installations and a Professional Grade heavy-duty, heavy jacketed, single strand wire for added strength and reliability! If you are interested in our Professional Grade heavy duty wire, look for models with the black wire spool in the picture or a "Heavy-Duty Wire" description. We recommend using the wire upgrade if you are installing above ground or in rocky soil, have a lot of fast growing tree roots or just want the added security of an extra heavy duty wire. Our heavy duty 18 gauge wire single strand copper wire is a specialty product and cannot be found in pet or hardware stores.
