This dog harness is made of soft mesh polyester and can be used in place of a collar. With a collar, there is a power struggle between you and your dog pulling each other, which leads to your dog choking on the collar. With a dog harness, the force is distributed to the torso, giving you better control over where your dog goes. Some dogs are flexible enough to escape from their collars. Since the harness goes around the neck and torso, it makes escaping more difficult. A resizable chest belt allows you adjust the harness to fit your dog's size.
